Driving your Life like a Car!

Life is like driving a car!

You can see what's ahead of you in the whole world (future) from the big windscreen. Also you can see what's behind you from the three little rear view mirrors (past).
Without them you can't drive. You need to balance your focus to drive properly;
If you don't look back, you never know who will overtake you.
Also if you don't look ahead you don't know where you are going.

If you drive too fast, you may face an accident very soon.
If you drive too slow you might not be able to complete the journey of life (and win it).

If you take the shortest path in a difficult roadway, you will be exhausted at the end of the journey. Or,
If you choose a long comfortable high-way, time will run away from you.

If you don't maintain your car properly, you might run out of fuel and will certainly have to push it by yourself.

You can only drive your life depending on the type of your Ride!
If your car is a "Morris Minor", you hardly can do anything with it at present.
If your car is a Super car like "Ferrari 599 (264, 333 and 999) or Bugatti Veyron(777)", you can drive your life at the speed of sound. It is very fast but, it certainly doesn't suit Off-road conditions.
If you have a "Bus", you can certainly do a lot of good to many others by providing transport to them. But, it certainly is slow, because you have take them with you too.
If you have a "Defender (464) or a Hummer", you can drive it under any circumstances, no matter what the conditions of the environment, even though it is not the fastest-best ride to get to your destiny.

My Thoughts! - Chapter 1

  1. "You may be an expert when you play with other people's lives. But, you will always loose when you play with yourself."
  2. Types of Hearts :
Some people have hearts like Butter.
Some people have hearts like Stones.

The Best and Worst Rainy day of my life!

It was,
Saturday, 16th February 2008.
Previously I had only seen results of rainy day on TV. But , that day I really did experience how nice and crazy it is to get caught to couple of hours of a rowdy rain. Personally, it was a a super experience to me. So here is the story.

I was on my way back home after tennis practices from St. Peter's College. The time was exactly 5.10 pm. I was walking down the streets of Nugegoda as the sky was getting darker. I felt that I'll have to have a great bath before I go home. And then I did. It started to rain very very hard in no time. So, I ran for shelter. There was a shop which was on repair, about 10 people hurried close to it. The rain was so windy that, some of them even were trying to cover their whole body with their umbrella under that shelf. Well, what I meant was, I was getting a bath under the shelf. My legs were shivering and my bag was also wet. At about 5.48pm, I could hardly identify the pavements, the road was like a river. I felt sorry for those who were doing little businesses in the pavements (people who were selling CD's, hair band, newspapers, etc.). Well, they were trying to protect what ever they have to live the next day of their lives.
At about 6.32pm the rain stopped, infact slowed down a little. So, I decided to go to the bus stand, or else I won't be able to go home for few more hours.

Well, the real fun started then. it was really a hard task to walk for 100 meters without stepping into a sewer. So many people were shouting at cars, buses and trucks to slow down, because the waves generated by them were making the people go crazy. Really fun.
Some how, when I reached the halt there was no buses. And one love-couple was having a cold-icy fight with each other in this windy rain under one umbrella. It was the most funny scene I saw in that day. I even took a picture of them. That is what you see in this article.
Suddenly one bus arrived. I just flew to it. And the driver was staring at me. Cuz' I was so wet that he pretended not to take me to the bus. Somehow, all in all, after about 15 minutes I could reach home.
What a day!

That night I thought how worst would it be to face a storm or hurricane. Isn't it?
Would it be more fun than this?
